AT&T Napster "Band Posters"
To promote AT&T’s new affiliation with Napster’s web-based music service, Brand New School has created a digital homage to an analog aspect of today’s music advertising, transforming a generic urban environment into a musical wonderland. The spot opens with a young woman leaving her house. With her headphones in place, the woman passes a wall of posters for Swedish indie pop group Peter Bjorn & John. A simple stroll around the block turns into a vivid journey through a musically inspired world. Band posters come alive and objects are transformed to instruments. The musically transformed neighborhood was so well received that Sony decided to use the Brand New School-created posters to promote Peter Bjorn & John throughout the east and west coast. The band is also thinking of using it as their tour poster as well.

The entire project was done in less than three weeks. This would not have been possible without the incredibly cool and supportive clients whom we are currently in the process of cloning. Big thanks to Derek, Janet, Kelly, Jeff and Dave.

New Balance "Zip 07"
Experience an abstract fly-through of structures made from shoe “cartridges” in our second outing with the New Balance Zip campaign. Directed by Brand New School for Boathouse. The spot highlights three types of athletes that the shoes are targeted towards. From running to training to basketball, the energy that each athlete releases is illustrated by a trail left behind by the shoe. Shot digital in a tapeless high speed format, the beginnings of a completely new production pipeline was made possible by technical guru, Andreas Wacker.
